I’m not saying we have to. I’m asking people to grapple with why others justify political violence. I think a lot of people weighing in don’t want to do that because it’s more satisfying to simply condemn all violence. But our condemnations mean very little to the folks who are willing to use violence and put themselves in harm’s way.
